Don Vaughn's Introduction

Hi, my name is Don, I am a 6'1”, 230-pound black man from San Jose, California. I've been inside this bubble for a long time. I came in when I was 21 years old, I am now 45 as of 2021. I made my share of mistakes, and I pray for the opportunity in life to show that I am more than a number, more than a prisoner, more than someone incarcerated. I would love the chance to show who I really am. I have dreams, and I have hope. I hope for a second chance at life, and someone to talk to and share conversation with. I love to read, write, and draw. I create my own cards, take part in crafting such as beading, and I write poetry. I’m learning to play the guitar, I work out, and have a caring heart and good listening ear. I will listen to you, laugh with you, and cry with you. I am a huge movie buff and know almost everything there is to know about comic books. Meeting new people in the free world would be a blessing.
