Adam McGuire's Introduction

Hey World! My name is Adam. And I'm wanting to correspond with positive people who are looking for someone like myself to write to. So here's a little about me: I grew up in San Antonio, TX and I've spent some time living in L.A. and Austin. But when I get out of prison, I think I want to try country living. Peace and quiet is always nice. I'm an aspiring inspirational/comedic writer and philosopher (oxymoronic, I know), as well an ever-brainstorming entrepreneur. So to me, life is like a really goofy, hot nerdy chick, beautiful enough to be arresting; yet awkward enough to be approachable. So carpe diem, she won't mind. ;) Being an aspiring inspirer, I, myself, try to keep and maintain a positive attitude by keeping an optimistic perspective, a loving focus, and a disposition of gratitude. So to me optimism is saying, "Yes! our glasses are half-full and half-empty --- but that emptiness isn't nothingness; it's room to grow." I believe by being grateful for the things we have, and focusing on the things we love, we can appreciate the fact that we even have glasses in the first place. And then we can fill our glasses with the things we love until they run'th over. I enjoy encouraging others, being open-minded, and learning new things. I like rock and classical music, and some country music as well. I enjoy studying the Classical Arts (I think the Greeks did it best) and a good zombie flick/book. I'm really into blackjack, real estate, deep thinking, inventing stuff, and being goal oriented, what can I say, I've got an entrepreneurial spirit. I'm man enough to admit I like the color purple, Taylor Swift's music, and the smell of gardenias in the morning. I was once crazy enough: -to have my first mohawk at the age of 3. -to have run away with my first girl I ever loved (we were young and stupid; what else made sense?) And am still crazy enough to believe life is what we make of it. No matter where you are, you are either the hero or the victim. So I always try to make the most of it by being the hero and living my beliefs. So if I've piqued your interest, take a chance and write!
