My name is Ronald David Faison, TDCJ #1109497, I am 56 years of age. I am currently incarcerated at the French Robertson Unit in Abilene, Texas. I have been locked up in Texas prisons for 21 years. I have successfully completed my basic education and I've taken many courses in self-help. I am still learning and hoping to learn about the free world and how to find my way around the web and all that it offers. I have learned social skills from the staff at my unit. They are made up of professionals, trained workers, and volunteers for the instruction, leadership, and guidance of young men. Here we learn how to build a better character by these activities: recreation, athletics and sports, arts and crafts, music and vocational and individual guidance. We have a library, but no access to computers or phones unless set up by you or another outside entity. Here is what I offer as a friend. On my honor, I will do my best: to do my duty to God and my country, and obey the law. will help other people at all times. To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight. I will try to be trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent. I have taken many courses in my life: first aid, signaling, observation, cooking, waitering, cashiering, food service, and after school care. I am easy to get along with and very understanding. I am looking for someone who has similar qualities and who is willing to write to me at least twice a month. Someone who will tell me about themselves and what they want in a friend or relationship.
