Parrish Bennette's Introduction

"When nothing is sure, everything is possible." After 11-1/2 years I've done & seen it all in this place and am eager to leave this chapter of my life in the rearview. My name is Parrish. I'm 27 years old, Black & Korean and have been incarcerated since I was 16. I was blessed in 2020 to have laws change where juveniles (me) sentenced as adults are no longer legal sentences. I submitted my clemency petition to the Governor at the beginning of the year and am currently awaiting my Parole date! Because of these positive turn of events, I've chosen to sign up for Friends4Prisoners with the hopes of meeting a woman with good conversation, who doesn't allow yesterday's failures to determine today's success. My interests include all types of music, trivia games, running, working out, reading, movies and anything outdoors. Currently I'm 4 months into teaching myself Spanish. I practice 1-1/2 to 2 hours a day and have enjoyed every minute, but would like to focus more on the conversation aspect, which I also hope to find through Friends4Prisoners. In life I've made it a priority to keep an open mind, so that I don't miss opportunities to meet new great people. Our interest could be polar opposites and still bring great conversation, enlightenment and friendship into each other's lives! Look forward to hearing from you soon!
