Gregory Pope's Introduction

Hey! I'm Greg, but I go by Pope. I'm no Angel, obviously, but I'm an open book and will answer any questions and will explain my situation if you want to know. I'm not as bad as prison makes me seem. I'm not looking for a savior though. I'm an artist first and foremost. I paint and draw as much as I can. I hope to be a tattoo artist when I'm out, specializing in American traditional and Neo traditional. I'm heavily influenced by music, especially in my art. I grew up on alternative and hardcore music, but have very eclectic taste. I love music like Zach Bryan, Every Time I Die, mewithout you, Knocked Loose, Balance and Composure, Aesop Rock and Modest Mouse... to name a few. Music gets me through my days in here. I'm always up for recommendations too! I was a pretty outdoorsy guy on the outside. I enjoyed hikes, bike rides, and spending time at the lake or river… especially with my dog. I feel most at home in a hammock among the trees. I was a skater and ran a skate shop for 10 years. But as much as I was an outdoorsy guy, I was also a bit of a homebody. I loved to curl up on the couch and binge some Netflix. I'm looking for someone to connect with. I'm not much for prison politics or the male bravado and I'm a little starved for female interaction. So being constantly surrounded by dudes isn't ideal for me. I'm a flirt, but really crave friendship. Just to hear about the day-to-day of someone's life brightens my day. For all my faults, I am a good listener and understanding of everyone's situations. I also can give good advice or at least a different perspective if you’d like it.
